Best Madden 24 QBs- Top Quarterbacks By OVR Rating

Ratings week for Madden 24 is being wrapped up by unveiling the top 10 quarterbacks. The quarterback position is the most important on the field and features the most notable athletes in the sport. As such, the ratings for QBs and the top 10 list in particular can really stir the pot amongst the Madden community.

Fortunately, there is no arguing about the top player at the position. After leading Kansas City to another championship, Patrick Mahomes has returned to the 99 Club and regained his status as the best QB in Madden. The QBs that follow Mahomes are another story, as there are some notable additions and exceptions to the top 10 list.

Top 10 QBs in Madden 24

A year ago, it was now-retired quarterback Tom Brady who started the season with the highest rating. With the greatest player of all time now retired, the league turns to its young stars to fill the void left behind by Brady. The top 10 list this season is chock-full of young talent along with some aging veterans that still have what it takes to be a top QB in the NFL.

1. Patrick Mahomes – 99 OVR

Mahomes began last season as a 95 OVR, which came one year after being the cover athlete for Madden and making his first appearance in the 99 Club. Many thought last year’s rating was far too low, and they proved to be right. The Chiefs QB is now back atop his position and should have Kansas City contending for another Super Bowl.

2. Joe Burrow – 95 OVR

Joe Cool has jumped from a 90 OVR in the initial Madden 23 ratings to a 95 OVR in Madden 24. While Burrow’s Bengals didn’t have the same team performance as they did in 2021-22, last season was another terrific statistical year for the LSU product. He finished with fewer INTs, more touchdowns, and similar numbers in passing yards, completion percentage, and QB rating. There’s no reason to except Burrow won’t put up the same or better numbers in 2023-24.

3. Josh Allen – 94 OVR

The cover athlete of Madden 24 comes in as the number three QB. Josh Allen had another outstanding year last season, even if it came with a few more mistakes than Buffalo fans would like. Allen is one of the best dual-threat QBs in the league, showing he can run and pass with the best of them. We’ll just have to wait and see if Allen can avoid or overcome the infamous Madden Curse.

4. Lamar Jackson – 91 OVR

Lamar Jackson was at the center of some off-season controversy when it seemed like he was done playing for the Baltimore Ravens. However, the two sides worked out their contract differences and now Jackson is locked in as the QB of the future for the Ravens. Jackson’s talent is undeniable, both as a passer and a runner, but he hasn’t had an injury-free season in quite some time.

5. Jalen Hurts – 88 OVR

One of the best stories from last season was Jalen Hurts and the Eagles turning into the top offense in the entire NFL Come from Sports betting site VPbet . Hurts showcased his abilities in numerous ways last season, throwing bombs to receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith while also perfecting the art of the QB sneak. Hurts wasn’t able to capitalize with a Super Bowl, though, and he will need another MVP-type year to prove he belongs as a 90 OVR-rated QB.

6. Justin Herbert – 87 OVR

While some in the media call him a “social media QB,” there is no denying Justin Herbert’s talent as a QB. There are few better than Herbert at throwing the ball deep with precision and accuracy. Herbert and the Chargers haven’t been able to get over the playoff hump yet, though, which will continue to affect the QB’s OVR rating.

7. Dak Prescott – 87 OVR

Speaking of playoff woes, we now come to Dallas and Dak Prescott. Dak has continually shown flashes of being a top-three QB in the league, but he often makes costly mistakes that prevent him from being rated higher on this list. Perhaps with a new target in Brandin Cooks, Prescott will finally be able to take the Cowboys deep into the playoffs.

8. Aaron Rodgers – 86 OVR

Just a year ago, Aaron Rodgers was a 96 OVR QB for the Super Bowl-contending Green Bay Packers. Now, Rodgers is an 86 OVR QB on the upstart New York Jets. It’s a storyline for the ages, and Rodgers will have to prove he still has what it takes to lead a team to the playoffs if the Jets have any hope in 2023-24. He has the weapons around him to make it work, but Rodgers did show signs of regression last season.

9. Kirk Cousins – 84 OVR

Many fans were calling for someone like Trevor Lawrence to take Kirk Cousins’ spot in the top 10. While that might happen over the course of the season, Cousins is still an above-average QB who has wide receiver Justin Jefferson running routes in front of him. As long as Cousins can keep his mistakes to a minimum, he will likely remain in the top 10.

10. Tua Tagovailoa – 83 OVR

Finishing out the list is Miami’s Tua Tagovailoa. Tua was the subject of several different injuries during the 2022-23 season, with his concussions being of particular concern. While Tua stated he had thoughts of retiring, his desire to play football was too strong to overcome. Tua needs to stay on the field this season, both for his own sake and the sake of the Dolphins’ offense. When he’s out there, the offense runs like a well-oiled machine, with receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle leading the way. Time will tell if Tua can play a full season or not.

PSX 2015- Sony celebrates its fans and its (large) lineup

I feel like I could re-run last year's editorial on the PlayStation Experience keynote, minus the bits about how it was a bold decision for the company to throw its own event (it's a still a smart one, but now it's not new.)

This year's PlayStation Experience keynote presentation saw the company blasting through game announcements left and right; it was like last year, but more so. Sony's presentation was peppy, full of games, and fully fan-oriented.

As in Las Vegas in 2014, so in San Francisco in 2015 — the company has the stage to itself (quite literally, as compared to an event like E3 or Gamescom) so there was no posturing. It was figuratively true, too — at l…
