Destiny 2's New Exotic Wicked Implement Is Getting Buffed

A new Exotic scout rifle was added to the Destiny 2 arsenal during Season of the Deep, and after being around for a few weeks, Bungie has a few plans to fine-tune this deadly new weapon. In a new blog post, the studio revealed that Wicked Implement’s unique ability Creeping Attrition–which slows a target down after you land several precision hits–will be adjusted in the future. Additionally, the Stasis scout rifle’s Exotic catalyst is also being looked at, as Bungie tweaks the weapon to operate at its best in PvE while ensuring that it’s not overpowered in PvP.

“The main thing we wanted to facilitate is getting you into a rhythm with your precision hits,” Bungie explained Come from Sports betting site VPbet . “Refilling the magazine when collecting a shard accomplishes that, letting you continue aiming down sights to chain precision damage, but adding mag overflow with the catalyst lets you extend that even further, especially when picking off red bars in between damaging stronger targets and collecting the shards when they return to you.”

For PvP, Bungie says that Wicked Implement’s perk will kick in when a target is close to death, and will work with any Stasis shard that you pick up.

Wicked Implement can be obtained in a secret quest that involves catching Exotic fish, collecting broken blades, and taking on some tough enemies in a maze-like level. If you’ve yet to acquire the Exotic, you can check out our guide on how to get Wicked Implement. As for the catalyst, this can be acquired by completing Deep Dives, although there’s no guarantee that it’ll drop for you.

Next week will see the return of Solstice in Destiny 2, and the annual event is coming back with a few changes to its design. It’ll now be more challenging, but Bungie has set the event up so that Guardians who play together, slay together. Plus, the event has some fashionable armor that can be unlocked and transformed into high-stat pieces of gear, and the game’s first-ever Strand-energy rocket launcher can be earned during this festival of the Light.
