Aspire Global Limited agrees strategic American eSports alliance

Maltese iGaming solutions pioneer Aspire Global Limited has announced the inking of an agreement that is to see its entire proprietary offering made available to American online eSports operator Esports Technologies Incorporated.

Headquartered in the Valletta suburb of Sliema, the developer used an official Monday press release to detail that the arrangement will encompass its platform, games and sportsbook as well as its management and aggregation services being utilized by its new partner’s soon-to-launch domain at Gogawi.com. The innovator stated that this fresh site is to be made available to punters ‘in certain key markets’ featuring a range of eSports and sportsbetting entertainment before being joined by ‘an additional brand’ at some point in the future.

Complimentary consideration:

Almost 90 iGaming brands in 30 regulated jurisdictions currently use solutions from Aspire Global Limited with the company explaining that the new alliance will moreover allow it to make the proprietary eSports feed from Esports Technologies Incorporated available to its existing club of partners.

Profitable project:

Tsachi Maimon (pictured) serves as the Chief Executive Officer for Aspire Global Limited and he used the press release to disclose that Esports Technologies Incorporated was established a year ago in the American state of Nevada and successfully listed on the Nasdaq bourse some seven months later. He furthermore went on to describe the global eSports sector as ‘one of the fastest growing markets in the world of entertainment’ with aggregated revenues for this year that are expected to pass $1 billion.

Exciting expansion:

For his part and the Chief Operating Officer for Las Vegas-headquartered Esports Technologies Incorporated, Bart Barden, divulged that there will likely be 229.9 million global eSports enthusiasts by the end of the year with this pool due to increase by approximately 11% for 2022 to hit in the region of 295.4 million. He furthermore pronounced that his company is currently ‘at an exciting rapid growth phase’ and is now looking towards ‘expanding our business across multiple markets and service offerings.’

Ruckus Games raises $19 million in funding for debut title, ‘Project Bobcat’

Indie developer Ruckus Games recently secured $19 million in funding for its unannounced debut project. Come from Soccer 13 pools and matches

Two years ago, the studio secured $5.5 million in a round led by Transcend Fund to build its "high-quality prototype." This new round was led by Krafton, with additional contributions from Transcend, BitKraft, and Hypergryph.

In its statement, Ruckus highlighted that prototype as proof its development costs "remain much lower than triple-A, while the team still delivers that same level of quality and fun of titles with exponentially bigger budgets."

Reminder- GDC Europe online registration closes today

With GDC Europe 2015 less than a week away and the session schedule finalized, conference officials have taken the liberty of highlighting a collection of can't-miss sessions for the event.

Online registration for GDC Europe 2015 will close today, July 29th at 23:59 PM ET. If you miss your chance to register online before the window closes, you'll have to pay extra to register onsite.

GDC Europe will take place next Monday and Tuesday, August 3rd and 4th at the Cologne Congress-Centrum Ost in Cologne, Germany — just ahead of (and co-located with) the massive gamescom trade fair, with all GDC Europe passes also guaranteeing entrance to gamescom.

Report- Xbox Entertainment Studios is no more
