A Borgata Championship Event – The Great Way to Start New Year

The Borgata tournaments are famous for their tournaments – and they seem to maintain their position during the next year, starting with The Return festival. The tournament begins on January 2nd and lasts until January 8th. 

The tournament consists of four action-packed tournaments. There is also the $3 million guaranteed Main Event with the possibility of earning $1 million. One player will earn that amount of money – so good luck!

This No-Limit Hold’em event is a $5.300 buy-in $3 million guaranteed event. Day 1A begins on January 4th at 11:00 a.m., and Day 1B starts tomorrow at the same time. The second and third days begin on January 6th and 7th, and the last table is planned for January 8th. The starting time of the final table depends on the conclusion time of Day 3. 

The beginning of the game is the same for everyone: there are 35.000 chips, and plays to blinds begin at 100/100, featuring 100 big blind antes. 

The first levels last for 60 minutes, while the 9th and 10th levels end the first day. The games on the second day last for 75 minutes, and it ends at the end of the 20th level. On Day 3, there are blind levels that last for 90 minutes.

The first Borgata’s Mystery Bounty event cost $2.200 to enter, and the minimum guaranteed amount was $1 million worth of mystery bounties.

There is also a buy-in Bounty Event, where all your opponents that are sent to the showers guarantee you an additional $1.000. Also, there are Super Survivors tournaments, where only one person out of ten gets the amount of $10.000.

Ruckus Games raises $19 million in funding for debut title, ‘Project Bobcat’

Two years ago, the studio secured $5.5 million in a round led by Transcend Fund to build its "high-quality prototype." This new round was led by Krafton, with additional contributions from Transcend, BitKraft, and Hypergryph.

Reminder- GDC Europe online registration closes today

With GDC Europe 2015 less than a week away and the session schedule finalized, conference officials have taken the liberty of highlighting a collection of can't-miss sessions for the event.

Online registration for GDC Europe 2015 will close today, July 29th at 23:59 PM ET. If you miss your chance to register online before the window closes, you'll have to pay extra to register onsite.

GDC Europe will take place next Monday and Tuesday, August 3rd and 4th at the Cologne Congress-Centrum Ost in Cologne, Germany — just ahead of (and co-located with) the massive gamescom trade fair, with all GDC Europe passes also guaranteeing entrance to gamescom.

Report- Xbox Entertainment Studios is no more

Hollywood trade magazine Variety reports that Xbox Entertainment Studios, the arm of the company which was developing programs based on its game lineup and original shows featuring TV stars, is no more.
